The Story Behind Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger’s Arch Motorcycle

Phillip “Phil” Kwilose is a Cedar Rapids, Iowa resident, while he works as general manager at Five Star Home Improvement in Iowa City. He has helped the company achieve better dollar sales and volume. As general manager, he manages the sales representatives and calls on customers. Phil Kwilose also enjoys motorcycles.

One of the most famous high-end motorcycle manufacturers is Arch Motorcycle. Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger founded Arch Motorcycle Company together as a high-end custom American motorcycle manufacturing company. Keanu met Gard in 2007 when he tried to get him to customize his Harley-Davidson. Keanu asked Gard to install a sissy bar on his bike, but Gard refused. Eventually, Gard built a new bike for Keanu, and when it was ready four years later, Keanu wanted the world to have bikes like this.

Gard was reluctant at first, but Keanu pressed. Keanu told him about leaving something beautiful in the world to remain even after they passed on. Gard bought that and thought he couldn’t argue with that logic. So, together, they began to work on a prototype for the KRGT-1.
